Sovereign LORD is mentioned here…prophecy of judgment on Israel…bring a sword against you and I will desteoy your high places vs 3…altars smashed..will slay your people in front of your idols (sins against God directly is deadly)…wherever you live..laid waste..high places demolished…people will fall slain among you…will know that I am the LORD…spare some…scattered among the lands and nations.vs 4-8..I have been grieved by their adulterous hearts (thought:change loyalty, respect and honour) which have turned away from me, and by their eyes which have lusted after their idols vs 9..because of all the wicked and detestable practices of the house of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague (vs 11-thought: God’s arsenal)…spend my wrath upon them..will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste…Then they will know that I am the LORD vs 11-14.
Could this similarly apply to the current C-19 pandemic?

Man with leprosy cried to Jesus for healing..has faith in Jesus most likely base on what he heard about Jesus-got healed..don’t tell anyone..show yourself to the priest..sacrifices. cleansing..testimony to them…began to talk freely, spreading the news..
Jesus heals a paralytic-amazing faith demonstrated in this scene..lowered the mat from the roof..Jesus saw their faith…said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Thought: this case of suffering is because of the man’s sins..Jesus has the authority to forgive sins vs 5..demonstrates that he is equal to God..teachers of the law..He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” vs 7..Jesus knew in his spirit..thinking in their hearts .the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins vs 10….amazed everyone abd they praised God..vs 11.
Summary: sins of the man, faith in Jesus, Son of Man has authority to forgive.

Paul taught on the godly behaviors..all those in authority, that we may live in all godliness and holiness …pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth vs 4..one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men… vs 5-6..telling the truth,..a teacher of the true faith yo the Gentiles..behaviors for women. vs 9-15.
