Judgment on Israel’s leaders. Ezekiel 11:1-25, NIV
MM
Ezekiel’s vision..God’s judgment on evil Israel’s leaders of the people…Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah…these are the men who are plotting evil and giving wicked advice in this city…metaphor used: ..city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat..prophesy against them…You have killed many people in this city and filled its streets with the dead…the bodies you have thrown out there are the meat and this city is a pot, but I will drive you out of it…..the sword is what I will bring against you…declares the Sovereign LORD….hand you over to foreigners and inflict punishment on you…execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel vs 1-10, NIV
Vision-Now as I was prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah died vs 13…Although I sent them far away among the nations and scattered them among the countries, yet for a little while I have been a sanctuary for them in the countries where they have gone vs 16….will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give youback the land of Israel again vs 17..will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols vs 18…give them undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh vs 19..will follow my degrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God vs 20.
Thought: heart of stone..no feeling…heart of flesh full of feeling.
The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in Babylonia in the vision given by the Spirit of God vs 24, NIV…I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me vs 24….thought: time travel in the vision.
Mark 3:13-34, NIV

Jesus appointment of his twelve disciples…sent them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.
The twelve: 1) Simon (aka Peter) 2) James son of Zebedee 3) his brother John 4) Andrew 5) Philip 6) Bartholomew 7) Matthew 8) Thomad 9) James son of Alphaeus 10) Thaddaeus 11) Simon the Zealot 12) Judas Iscariot (betrayed Jesus).
Jesus was accused of being possessed by Beelzebub..By the prince of demons..driving out demons vs 22. Jesus’ reply was amazing…How can Satan drive out Satan?…a kingdom or a house divided against itself cannot stand…gave an analogy of robbing a strong man…his possessions. tie up the strong man first..
Thought: Seriousness of insulting the trinity cannot be forgiven…whoever blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven…guilty of an eternal sin -vs 23-29.
Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother vs 34.
