Call sinners to repentance

  • Jesus has such great authority; whoever he calls follow him; he gets to choose. In this case, he called Levi, the tax collector to follow him;
  • Jesus comes to call sinners to repentance; that is why he does not shy away from mixing with sinners – tax collectors and prostitutes.
