David’s prayer

David prayed to God for deliverance from the evildoers, and ask God to deal with them in Psalm 141:1-10.

He aaked God to put a guard over his mouth; keep watch the door of his lips in Psalm 141:3.

Do not partake in evil deeds nor eat the delicacies of the evildoers; in other word do not be complicit of their evil doings.

Every organs, mouth, ears, eyes, hands, heart to be used to enhance righteousness. Also, read Romans 10:6-12.

He prayed that his heart not be drawn to what is evil vs 4, and to fix his eyes on the Sovereign Lord in verse 8.

Psalms 141:1-10
[1]I call to you, Lord; help me now! Listen to me when I call to you.
[2]Receive my prayer as incense, my uplifted hands as an evening sacrifice.
[3]Lord, place a guard at my mouth, a sentry at the door of my lips.
[4]Keep me from wanting to do wrong and from joining evil people in their wickedness. May I never take part in their feasts.
[5]Good people may punish me and rebuke me in kindness, but I will never accept honour from evil people, because I am always praying against their evil deeds.
[6]When their rulers are thrown down from rocky cliffs, the people will admit that my words were true.
[7]Like wood that is split and chopped into bits,     so their bones are scattered at the edge of the grave.
[8]But I keep trusting in you, my Sovereign Lord.     I seek your protection; don’t let me die!
[9]Protect me from the traps they have set for me, from the snares of those evildoers.
[10]May the wicked fall into their own traps     while I go by unharmed.

Romans 10:6-13
[6]But what the scripture says about being put right with God through faith is this: “You are not to ask yourself, Who will go up into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down).
[7]“Nor are you to ask, Who will go down into the world below?” (that is, to bring Christ up from death).
[8]What it says is this: “God’s message is near you, on your lips and in your heart” — that is, the message of faith that we preach.
[9]If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved.
[10]For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved.
[11]The scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
[12]This includes everyone, because there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles; God is the same Lord of all and richly blesses all who call to him.
[13]As the scripture says, “Everyone who calls out to the Lord for help will be saved.”
