It pleased the LORD for the sake of his righteousness to make his law great and glorious vs 21; ..plundered and looted…no one say, “Send them back.” Vs 22; ..would not follow his ways; would not obey his law. So he poured out on them his burning anger, the violence of war (vs 24-25, NIV).
