Parable of the cooking pot
Meat and bones represents people of Israel?
Just as they create bloodshed in the city…to the pot encrusted (with blood?) whose deposit will not go away!…blood she shed…poured on bare rock..God’s wrath is on them…”Woe to the city of bloodshed! I, too, will pile the wood high. So heap on the wood and kindle the fire. vs 6-12.
..your impurity is lewdness..clense you..you will not be clean again until my wrath against you has subsided…The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I wll not have pity, I will not relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign LORD.'” vs 13-14.
..with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes vs 15.
You will not mourn or weep but waste away because of your sins and groan among yourselves vs 24…on the day I take away their stronghold, their joy and glory, the delight of their eyes, their heart’s desire, and their sons and daughters as well…vs 25.

.Bethsaida.Jesus went to the hills to pray…thought: the importance of prayers alone with God…walking on the lake..the wind was against them..thought he was a ghost…terrified.Take courage!..Don’t be afraid… vs 50.. climbed into the boat..the wind died down…everywhere he went..they placed the sick…begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak…all who touched him were healed. vs 53-56.
Thought: the power of Jesus..walk on the water..waves obey him… Just need to touch him; get healed.
2 Timothy 4:1-22, NIV
..Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the death..Preach the Woed; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage.with great patience…time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine..suit their own desires..teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear away from the truth and tirn aside to myths vs 1-5.
..have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith…in store for me the crown of righreousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day..not only to me,…vs 6-8.
