Many testified falsely againgst him, bur their statements did not agree vs 56…Th: Jesus’ reaction to false statements: SILENCE.

Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?” vs 61.

Th: Jesus’ reaction to true statements: TELL THE TRUTH as below.

” I am,” said Jesus. ” And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” – vs 62.

Th:Teach the manner of communication when confronted with false accusations and true statement.

..high priest’s reaction: tore his clothes..blasphemy…all condemned him as worthy of death..spit at him; they blindfolded him;struck him with their fists…insulted him…”Prophesy!”-vs 63-65.

Th: Jesus suffered much for injustice and to pay the price of sins for mankind and to redeem mankind back to God for those who accepts him as LORD and Saviour.

..the six seals will be open by the lamb of God…avenge our blood…sun turned black..moon turned red…stars in the sky fell to earth…sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place…everyone hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains..vs 3:1-16….sits on the throne…the wrath of the Lamb …who can stand? vs 17.

Th: End judgment times: terror on earth.

Th: when come to judgment time, not the gentle side of Jesus being displayed….wrath.
