Israel Punished and Restored
GOD DEALINGS WITH AN ADULTEROUS NATION… God can take away one’s fruits of labour as a form of punishment. Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and when my new wine it is ready vs 9. I will stop all her celebrations…vs 11. I will ruinher vines and her fig-trees vs 12.

Gabriel, the Archangel was sent to deliver the message to virgin Mary that she will give birth to a child..named him Jesus.
Note Gabriel introduced Jesus as:
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”-vs 34
