Lament over Tyre…a great trading nation..a nation under Judgment in Chapter 26 why? (a separate study is required)….Now you are shattered by the sea in the depths of the waters..your wares and all your cimpany have gone down with you….kings shudder with horror..faces are distorted with fear..come to a horrible end vs 34-36.
Period estimate: Book of Ezekiel 590-570 BC. Babylon laid seige to Tyre from 585-573 BC-a thirteen-year siege as predicted.
Mark 8:14-37, NIV

Jesus healed the blind..begged Jesus to touch him…spat on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him..see people; they look like trees walking around…his sight was restored..saw everything clearly…
…Peter answered, “You are the Christ.” vs 29.
…the Son of Man must suffer many thimgs and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again vs 31.
If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me…save his life, will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?..ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him..comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels. vs 34-38
