He is my everything

In preparation for the Bible studies on Isaiah 28, 29.

TH: Sovereign and eternal God is Spirit. He offers and gives inner peace, rest, directions in life, principles and values to live on, cornerstone, rock, love, mercy, grace, forgiveness, 2nd chance, gifts, security, authority, power, wealth, protection, healer, wisdom, knowledge, justice, abundance, blessings, makes impossible possible, salvation, gives eternal life to those who believes and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour & loves and worships in spirit and in truth.

Seek and worship Him in spirit and in truth for life. Be thankful in my soul. Listen to Him in silence. Involve Him in everything. Communicates with Him daily in prayers. Learn at His feet daily. Share Him with others that they too will enjoy His blessings and salvation.

Born again as taught by Jesus..Paul reinforces this new life, new identity, new attitude, get rid of all bad thoughts and sinful behaviour by the power of the Holy Spirit…vs 23-25…new attitude…new self…put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbour.. .vs 26 dealing with anger…sun…a devil a fo foothold…etc…vs 29….unwholesome talk…come out of your mouths…vs 30…do not grieve the Holy Spirit…vs 32 Be kind and compassionate..

Sowing and reaping

Sows to please the flesh reaps sins fruits whereas sows to please the Spirit (vs 8) reaps eternal life; also bears the fruits of the Spirit (LJP, FKG, FGS)…..keeps doing good esp to the family of believers.

Fruits of the Spirit vs Acts of Sinful Nature

Galatians 5:13-26-a new life leads by the Holy Spirit (fruits vs 22) versus the old life of sinful nature verses 19-21 bad fruits-A.
Fruits of the Spirit-verse 22 LJP (Love, Joy, Peace);FKG (Forbearance or Patience, Kindness, Goodness);FGS (Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control). There is no law against it; love is number 1 in the sequence. Love Justice of Peace>Francis Kiss Germaine>Francis Gets Sentence.

A-19. The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

20. idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

21. and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Died to sins once accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour-released from the law and alive in Christ…new way of the Spirit…no longer controlled by the sinful nature vs 4-6..bear fruit to God.

Jesus raised Lazarus from the Dead

John 11:35-44

Packed implications:

Jesus wept-very human, grief, I suppose over the sting of death.

vs 40….if you believed, you would see the glory of God. Believe in your heart the greatness of God-all cards are on the table i.e He is able to do the impossible, of course must be within His will and Sovereignty.

vs 41 God always listens to Jesus’ prayer becos of who he is and his righteousness; Jesus did it for his people sake…that they may believe that you sent me.

Vs 45 Authority and power of Jesus-able to raise someone dead after four days (odour) in the cave tomb throgh his Heavenly Father (leveraging as a human being). Even the dead obeyschis command.
