Job Chapter 4-33
Job’s three friends (Eliphaz, Zaphar, Bildad) and a younger guy, Elihu all have good intentions, sincerely thought they were right about Job’s sins. They all criticised Job for not repenting and for complaining to God that he has done nothing wrong and being denied Justice.
They were all wrong in the final analysis.
God’s path: love, justice, mercy, grace, renewal, clean, wisdom, knowledge, safety, protection, solid foundation, reliable friend, all authority, power, majesty, awesome, proper, order, truth, light, lasting beauty, salvation, life, living water, eternal life, joy, peace, guidance, sound decisions, narrow path, righteousness, faith in Him, steady during tough times, resurrection through him, eternity with God and enjoy His presence, persecutions, shares in His sufferings…. All things work out for good for those who loves the Lord.
Satan’s path: lies, murderer, destruction, chaos, dirty, no principles, corrupt, heartaches, chaotic, hate, eternal destruction, anything goes, broad way, sinfulness, doubts in God, no peace, no hope during trials or tough times, death and no resurrection hope, heading for hell and eternal torment…
Your choice in life:
Job 28:1-28
Touches on: the price of wisdom; who possesses it; where it can be found; the marvels of priceless wisdom.
18. Coral and jasper are not worthy of mention; the price of wisdom is beyond rubies.
19. The topaz of Cush cannot compare with it; it cannot be bought with pure gold.
20. Where then does wisdom come from? Where does understanding dwell?
21. It is hidden from the eyes of every living thing, concealed even from the birds in the sky.
22. Destruction and Death say, “Only a rumor of it has reached our ears.”
23. God understands the way to it and he alone knows where it dwells,
24. for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.
25. When he established the force of the wind and measured out the waters,
26. when he made a decree for the rain and a path for the thunderstorm,
27. then he looked at wisdom and appraised it; he confirmed it and tested it.
28. And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”
My reflections on Queen Elizabeth II.
On 8th September 2022, the Queen passed away (age 96) just after two days of swearing in a new Prime Minister, Liz Truss. She appeared to lose a lot of weight and looks frail but ever smiling. Life is so uncertain that in just two days, events can change so fast from life to death.
All the feedback I heard from the media is that she gave a whole life of dedicated service to the people in the UK and in the Commonwealth-following the example of Christ. Jesus Christ has been her rock and example in her life in good and bad times. She was humble, patient, and has a good sense of humor. She has been a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a loving wife to Prince Philip. She has compassion for the people, non-discriminatory of race, gender, religion, and station of life, although she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth-a very good legacy, testimony, and example to follow.
Today, a new era has begun; a new Prime Minister and a new Queen. The Sovereign God has a sense of humor and is a great chess player-Ed Tiong, 10-08-22.
Job 11:1-20 Job’s friends wrongly accused or judged Job instead of just listening and understand him.
Job 12:1-25 replied displayed his wisdom and understanding of God.
True humility 12:3.
Th: Sovereign God can use Satan for His glorious purpose and has to operate within the limits or boundaries set by God Ch 1:12.
John 7:14-19…My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who semt me….

‘Acts 17:22-34 a powerful speech to Men of Athens on who is the God he worships-a living powerful God. Not being religious blindly.
