Both Pilate and Herod found Jesus not guilty…vs 13-17.
The crowd demanded Barrabas to be released and Jesus Christ to be crucified…Pilate granted their wishes vs 20-25.
TG: Amazing to the fulfilment of the prophecy…once God decreed it, it has to come to pass.

Herod…hoped to see him perform some miracle vs 8…plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer vs 9.
The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there…
Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked Jesus vs 11.

1. A song of ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
2. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3. Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.
