The Bible is one of the most fascinating books in my spiritual life journey and provides me with guidance to godly behavior and solid values in life. It is a light to my daily walk in life and nourishes me with the daily spiritual bread of life. It also teaches us about the powerful, all-wise, all-knowing, and sovereign God. The Bible teaches that He is a God of justice and a loving God. His love for humanity is so great that He is willing to send His only begotten Son to earth to die for our sins, to restore us back to Him. The Bible teaches us we are saved from eternal damnation through believing and accepting Him as Lord and Saviour.
What does the Bible says about itself?
2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for a right living so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed.”
John 1:1-2 “In the beginning, the Word already existed, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning, the Word was with God”
Psalm 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path.”
Hebrews 4:12 “The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.”
Isaiah 44:27 “With a word of command I dry up the ocean.”
Jesus said in John 6:33 “For the bread that God gives is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world and in John 6:51 “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If you eat this bread, you will live forever. The bread that I will give you is my flesh, which I give so that the world will live.”
