As I do my bible study this morning, I came across the title “Son of Man” – an interesting title. Often, we come across titles like Prime Minister, President, CEO, Managing Director etc. There is pride in holding these titles, that is why, people put them on their business cards and like to be addressed as such.
Jesus refers himself as the Son of Man and bring our attention to this title for a reason.
So I did some research (google it) into this title, it is interesting to find out there is already a prophecy on Jesus in the old testament in the book of Daniel and also the Son of Man was mentioned by Jesus many many times in the new testament.
Daniel 7:13-14 13 “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
This prophecy is yet to be fulfilled.
